After a disappointing campaign, the Arizona Cardinals brass is awaiting the pending decisions of veterans Carson Palmer and Larry Fitzgerald. There’s been ongoing speculation that the two may call it quits.
At the age of 37, it wouldn’t come as a surprise to see Palmer walk off into the sunset, especially after showing great signs of decline this past season. Fitzgerald, on the other hand, is still capable of playing at an elite level, but the passion for the game may be fading away.
The Cardinals haven’t set an official date of when they want the duo to make up their minds, but the belief is they’ll like to know by mid-February at the latest.
