Calvin Johnson Retires

The best receiver in franchise history is calling it quits. Calvin Johnson officially announced his retirement from the NFL after nine seasons today. At age 30, and coming off a season in which he caught 88 passes for 1,214 yards and nine touchdowns, Megatron is walking away from the game on his own terms. He ends a terrific career that saw him catch 731 balls for 11,619 yards and 83 touchdowns in 134 regular-season games. His receptions, receiving yards and receiving touchdowns are all franchise records.
